As the team at Clockwork continues to expand, we have released our initial plans to expand our building. Instead of building up, we have decided to create a sub-terrarian cavern complete with a dolphin training facility, particle collider and a new (convenient) office supply closet. Access to “the basement” via secret elevator with retina scanner will ensure proper security.
You may be asking yourself, “Why dolphins?” But we’re thinking, “Why not dolphins?” After all, dolphins are notorious nerds. In fact, as it turns out, Dolphins are very good at writing PHP and have a knack for Ruby on Rails. The drawback is that they are not so good at using a keyboard – we’re still trying to figure that one out. Another noticeable feature of our expansion is the new and improved Active Media Manager — it can now moonlight as a mini particle collider. Modeled after the Large Hadron Collider in Europe, the AMM will continue to serve up web sites at blazing fast speeds, and also help unravel the mysteries of the universe.
As you can guess, none of this is true. I’m simply a huge fan of cutaway illustrations. I’ve been looking for an excuse to create a cutaway and having recently started working at Clockwork and in its very recognizable building, I thought this was a great opportunity. While we may never see a dolphin training tank or particle collider, I’m pretty sure there is some cool stuff in the basement.
