Welcome to spring. Where rain may turn to snow, and then turn back to rain again, in the span of an hour. Here in the midwest, we have made it through Polar Vortex I and II and we are overly eager for the upcoming warmer weather. With above freezing temperatures and the snow melting, I find myself already making plans for hiking, canoe trips, planting flowers and herbs, and spending long summer days out in the sun.
So celebrate the longer — albeit, wet — days and upcoming thunderstorms. Go jump in some puddles, plant some flowers, or play in the snow! Who knows what will happen, because it’s Spring in Minnesota. Which means Summer is (hopefully) only a hop, skip, and jump away.
