This month’s wallpaper celebrates LGBT Pride Month.

President Bill Clinton proclaimed June to be Gay and Lesbian Pride Month in the United States in 2000. In 2009, President Barack Obama amended it to LGBT Pride Month. No matter what you call it, being proud of who you are is something to celebrate. So,  we present our June wallpaper, in honor of Pride month.

June’s Pride wallpaper includes a rainbow — of course! The use of rainbow colors to symbolize gay pride came from a flag designed by Gilbert Baker in 1978. Originally there were eight colors; in 1979 it was modified to six: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & violet.

The addition of the clouds came from my head being “in the clouds” for the past month since the birth of my son – Burnam.

The design was inspired from the love of an artist, designer, photographer, & musician – Scott Hansen.
